Trace

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Trace (“Trace”, “we”) helps mobile app developers analyze and improve their own apps. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and your controls. We only ever access data for the account you sign in with, and only for apps you already own or manage.

What we access, with your consent

How we use it

Solely to generate your analysis and, only on your explicit in-app approval, to apply changes you authorize to your own app — for example updating your store listing or pricing, or opening a pull request in your repository. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except infrastructure providers (e.g. Amazon Web Services) strictly to operate the service.

Google API limited-use disclosure. Trace’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage & security

Your data is stored per-tenant in isolated cloud storage, encrypted in transit and at rest. Access tokens are held in a secrets manager and are never exposed to the browser.

Retention & deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You can disconnect any source or delete your account at any time, which removes the stored tokens and associated data. To request deletion, email us at the address below.

Your controls

You can revoke Trace’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
